Medicare Supplements, also called MediGap, is a policy given by Medicare approved private insurance companies. This policy is to work with original Medicare Parts A & B. Medicare pays the approved amount for Medicare services first. Then, at that point the Medicare Supplement will kick in and pay its share as well. A Medicare Supplement plan can never be cancelled unless you fail to pay.

MediGap policies help pay for some copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. It does not cover prescription drugs nor extra benefits of dental, vision, or hearing.
