Medicare Parts A & B

Part A

Part A covers hospital care, skilled nursing, nursing home care (not custodial), hospice and home health. Part A in many cases does not have to be paid for if you or your spouse worked for 10 years and paid Medicare taxes. When first eligible (at 65)you have 7 months to enroll called the Initial Enrollment Period (IEP). Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service is managed and funded by the Social Security Administration.

Part B

Part B covers certain doctor services, outpatient care, medical supplies, prosthetic services. In 2020 PArt B will cost you $144.60 or higher depending on your income. Some enrollments are automatic and the others you have to enroll. And I would be happy to help you easily move through the application process.
